Contribute safely
Is it your font — or a font you found?
Choose the correct path. This keeps authorship, files and licence evidence clear from the first step.
For rights holders
One family ZIP. We build the useful page.
Create and verify the contributor account once. After that, each submission begins with one ZIP containing a single font family; the system reads the public family, author and style information from its TTF/OTF files.
- 1Sign in onceVerified account and responsibility agreement.
- 2Upload the family ZIPUp to 3.5 MB compressed, 25 MB unpacked and 12 styles.
- 3Confirm font-specific rulesLicence and content only when needed.
- 4Automatic reviewSafe package, metadata, 10+ glyphs per style, malware, content and duplicates.
No hate symbols, racist or xenophobic material, threats, targeted harassment or unlawful content. A non-targeted obscene hand gesture may be accepted. An identifiable person is not accepted; the author may depict only themself after an express declaration, and that font page is not monetised.
For discoveries
Found a useful open font?
Send only its official page. You do not upload another person’s file and you do not choose their licence. A suggestion helps us discover legitimate families whose authors have not submitted them directly.
- 1
We check the official source, author, exact licence and duplicates.
- 2
If that licence clearly permits redistribution, a copy is imported into private quarantine — never installed on your computer.
- 3
The file is checked and analysed before a public page or download exists.
- ×
If permission is missing or unclear, nothing is copied or published and the suggestion closes automatically.
Open licences such as SIL OFL, Apache 2.0 or CC0 can usually be imported after verification. Demo and Personal Use fonts normally require the rights holder to use “Submit my font”.
