Open the font file in Font Book, check the preview and select Install Font. Reopen any application that was already running.

Check the licence card on that font page. It explicitly says whether web and app embedding are allowed. A green Yes means the supplied files may be embedded under the full licence rules.

Some fonts contain only a limited character set, especially demos. Open the searchable glyph map before downloading to see exactly which characters are present.

Every download is free within its displayed limits. Demo and Personal Use fonts are not free for commercial work. Always read the licence card before using a font in a final project.

Only when the licence page says so. The Free to Modify badge always shows the underlying SIL OFL, Apache 2.0 or CC0 rules. The other house licences do not allow modification.

The status page shows the failed check: file integrity, unclear rights, licence mismatch, duplicate content or missing source. Ambiguous submissions are never published.

Yes. No external source page is required. The public font and author names are read directly from the uploaded font metadata. We record the verified account, declaration, file hash and submission time; a mismatch stops publication and asks for evidence.

At least 10 distinct glyphs. The system counts them from the uploaded font file; a preview image or ten repeated copies of the same glyph do not qualify.

We reject hate symbols, racist or xenophobic material, threats, targeted harassment, unlawful content and recognisable third parties. A non-targeted obscene hand gesture may be reviewed. An author may depict only themself after an express declaration; that page is not monetised.

Files stay in a non-public quarantine while format, structure, duplicates, malware signals, metadata and licence evidence are checked. A failed file never receives a public download URL.
